About C-Pen

The C-Pen technology and products are developed and supplied by C Technologies AB. 

The core value of the C-Pen technology is the convenience with which C-Pen captures printed information and process and decodes it to editable format with its embedded Optical Character Recognition (OCR) capability. 

The first ever C-Pen, the C-Pen Original, was launched 1998 and since then there has been a range of C-Pen versions, e.g. C-Pen 10/200/600/800, designed for various purposes.

Besides being used in C-Pen products supplied by C Technologies, the technology is also applied and integrated in third party solutions, such as e.g. PayPen, Ectaco/C-Pen and mini ScanEYE. 

The C-Pen technology is enabled for Windows, Windows CE/Mobile and MAC platforms. OCR capabilities includes both proprietary solutions and and integration of third party OCR engines (primarely provided by Abbyy Software House).
