Using your C-Pen with Google Docs.

There are some really nice apps that make work or studying easier. One that we find really useful to use for work and that can be used by students as well is Google Docs. Google Docs lets you create documents that you can edit and share in real time.

This means that you can create documents from your mobile device or computer which is instantly shared between all your own devices and also amongst the people you invite to share that document with. Best of all is that everybody can edit the document at the same time.

If you have a C-Pen 3.5 connected to your mobile device, you can easily highlight and input text from schoolbooks and documents into a Google Docs document and it's instantly is shared across your own devices and to the people you want to share the information with. So next time you need to take some quick notes from a book or document, do it directly into your mobile device with your C-Pen and when you get home its all there in your Google Docs document.

New retailer - Akademibokhandeln

Looking back at this past year, we want to thank everybody who contributed to making it as good as it was. Hopefully you had a great year as well, and we look forward to having an even better 2012.

Listen with C-Pen

There is a new version of C-Pen Core out and available for download. Apart from fine tuning the regular functionality of C-Pen, we have also included some new features.

Something that we have been working on for a while is to include speech synthesis (TTS) as a native function. Many of our users have asked for this function and we listened, went to work and now it is here.

So what does this mean?

Well, it´s as easy and great as it sounds. Anything you highlight with your C-Pen will be read out aloud. It is that simple. And if you want it to stop, you simply tell it to be quiet.

You can download the new version of C-Pen Core from our software page and there you can listen to and buy voices for the text to speech function.

Apart from getting text to speech function we put focus on making C-Pen Core as simple and easy to use as possible. Our goal is to minimize the number of clicks when using C-Pen, so now we have made it possible for you to make all the basic settings for your C-Pen directly in the menu bar. Making a shortlist of languages, changing languages, defining button function and text separator is now only a click away..

Welcome to the new C-Pen website and blog

Finally, we have updated our website to a more modern look. Which was needed to say the least.

Apart from a really nice design, we have made it a bit more structured and easier to navigate around. Here is a short lis of some of the news:

- A learn more section that shows how C-Pen can be used.
- Short videos in learn more section (they will be availible on youtube aswell).
- This great blog section where we will present the latest news about products and updates, and also show you some tips and tricks about what you can do with your C-Pen.
- Website is availible in English, German and now also in Swedish.
- A software section where you can find all the latest software for different platforms and also previous versions of software for all of our long time users.
