C-Pen TSX
C-Pen TS/X is the main software and includes the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) that turns the scanned printed text into computer editable text. It features the text to cursor function that automatically inserts the scanned text into the application of your choice and our own TS/X Editor software. It also includes a text to speech engine that together with a voice license can be used to listen to the text you scan. The TS1 includes a free voice licence which installs from inside the TS/X software.

Software available for your device and operating system:
TS1 is not compatible with Windows RT.
Windows RT operating system is made for Arm processors and it is currently not supported.

C Dictionary
The C Dictionary Add-On allows you to find the meaning of words by using the C-Pen. Scan any word with your C-Pen into C Dictionary and the application will instantly look up the word for you. Choose between a wide range of dictionaries and select the one that suits you. One dictionary is included free of charge when you purchase a C-Pen 3.0.
Franklin 9x dictionary
Franklin 9x Dictionary allows you to look up words that you highlight with your C-Pen. The application contains 9 different languages that can be used, which give you 72 different language combinations. You can also translate words between multiple languages simultaneously. The supported languages are: Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, and Russian.
Text Replace Add-On
This Add-On gives you the possibility to tailor the scanned text to your preferences. You can for example remove unwanted spaces in the scanned text. If you scan a combination of letters and digits you can keep either the letters or the digits. Or create your own rules to replace a specific character or to correct a word that is frequently misinterpreted.
C-Pad
C-Pad is a control pad for C-Pen. With C-Pad you can enter special characters and commands without releasing the C-Pen from your hand, simply by clicking on the buttons.

Important!
If you have the previous version of C-Pen for Mac (Beta) installed follow these instructions for installing this update!
1. Make sure that you have unchecked C-Pen as an input method in the keyboard/input method settings menu.
2. Run the uninstaller application included in this update
3. Install the application.
Release notes and known issues
Some may experience problems with accessing the setting through the C-Pen floating window. Instead open the Mac’s system preferences menu and choose the C-Pen Core settings. Bluetooth pairing has been disabled through the C-Pen Core application, instead add the C-Pen as a new device through the Mac’s own bluetooth setup menu. The pairing code is: 1234.
Some issues have been reported on connecting through bluetooth. The problem can depend on the Apple Bluetooth Stack. Therefore, perform the SMC reset on your Mac. Information is available here:

C-Pen Core for Android
The C-Pen Core application for Android devices allows you to connect your C-Pen 3.5 to any device running Android. The application let you use the C-Pen as the text input device in any application. It can be used with applications for translation, text to speech, word processing etc.
Installation
The easiest way to download the C-Pen Core application is to visit Android market on your device and simply searching for "C-Pen Core". Then download the application and install it.
