C-Pen 3.5 FAQ
Make sure that you have charged the battery.
To charge the battery, just connect the pen to USB with the cable provided in the box.
Charge it a few hours. Then try again.
- Open the C-Pen Core software. Make sure "Host Bluetooth status" is OK
- Connect the pen with the USB cable.
- When your pen is recognized the "C-Pen Model" will appear on-screen.
- Click the "Connect" button and wait for approximately 15 seconds.
We currently support "Microsoft Bluetooth Stack" and "Widcomm Bluetooth Stack".
1. Start the Device Manager like this:
Press "Win" + "R" to open the Run dialog.
In the input field, type: devmgmt.msc
Click OK.
2. If you see a category "Bluetooth Radios" and under it a "Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator",
you have the Microsoft's stack.

(Right-click the devices and select "Properties" - "Driver" to get more detailed information.)
3. If you see "Bluetooth Devices" without the "Enumerator", right-click the device and select
"Properties" - "Driver" to find the name of the Manufacturer. If it says Broadcom, you have the
Widcomm stack.
Download and install the latest verison of C-Pen Core.
- Disconnect USB cable.
- Press the function button for 14 seconds (reset).
- Then start the C-Pen again. Charge the C-Pen if necessary.
